Only four people batted for India in the T20 World Cup semi-final. Their strike rates were: Virat Kohli 189.4, MS Dhoni 166.7 and Rohit Sharma 138.7. And what of Ajinkya Rahane who lasted 35 balls? It was a measly 114.3.
What this means is that if everyone in that match played at the rate of Kohli, we would have scored 227, but if we would have scored at the rate of Rahane, we would have made 137. So did Rahane cost us the match and is he too slow for T20 cricket?
