As Indian players reach the hotel rooms and start the quarantine process, it looks like Shreyas Iyer has a "perfect company" to spend the next 14 days!
Iyer took to Twitter on Friday and shared a picture of him quarantine in the room in Sydney, captioning it as "Quaranting in perfect company"-- by company, he means himself.
The 25-year-old batsman reached Sydney and the rest of the Indian team to tour Australia on Thursday.
The entire team is expected to quarantine for the same period of 14 days before the tour gets underway with the first One-day International (ODI) of the three-match series on November 27.
Iyer reaches Australia on the back of his finest season in the Indian Premier League, playing a pivotal role in Delhi Capitals' run to the final.
Indian team is expected to play three ODIs, followed by as many T20Is, culminating with the four-match Test series in Australia. A lot of expectation riding on Iyer's performance this series.
