Team India was arguably the best side in 2019 dishing out excellent performances, time and again. The Asian giants thrashed opponents left, right and center with supreme dominance in all formats. The Indian team had been severely criticised for its inability to emerge victorious away from home in the past. However, 2019 marked a massive transformation in this regard as the outfit registered a historic Test series win against Australia in away conditions. India further reached the semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, on the back of sublime performances which is an indication of their growth and supremacy. This success would have been impossible if not for some world-class knocks from the batsmen, whenever the occasion demanded. It is extremely difficult for one to rate those magnificent knocks considering the sheer quality and numbers. However, it is certainly worth making an attempt to identify six of the most exemplary performances by the Indian batsmen, in order to pay tribute to the players' utmost dedication and professionalism.
