New Zealand pacer Tim Southee on Friday accounted for the key dismissal of opener Prithvi Shaw, with an excellent delivery on the opening day of the first Test against India at the Basin Reserve, Wellington.
Southee who has not been at his best in recent times, delivered a sublime full delivery starting on middle, with the ball then tailing away late. Shaw attempted to play the ball with a straight bat, with the delivery shaping away just enough to beat the outside edge and kiss the pole. The opener was done in by a beauty, after looking confident during his short stint at the crease.
