Metrics like company culture, career growth, compensation and work-life balance were considered to decide this ranking…
Anonymous professional network Blind conducted a survey recently to determine the top rated and worst rated tech companies to work in India in 2025. The survey was based on the responses given by over 7000 verified employee accounts on the portal.
Six key metrics were considered while grading the companies: company culture, career growth, compensation, work-life balance and trust in leadership.

Top Rated Tech Workplaces in India
American retail corporation Amazon emerged as the undisputed leader of the survey, for their exceptional work culture and trust in leadership. Following closely was AI chipmaker NVIDIA for their healthy workspace and ample growth opportunities. Third on the list was American Express. Despite a relatively poor compensation package, they led in strong workplace environment and trust in management.
Other notable companies in the top ranks included Google, Apple, Meta, Akamai Technologies, ServiceNow, Zoho, Arista Networks, Morgan Stanley, VMware, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. These workplaces stood out for their positive management, healthy work-life balance and a strong sense of employee value.
Worst Rated Tech Workplaces in India
According to the survey, Amazon has been ranked as the worst tech workplace in India. Other major companies that received similar poor ratings are Paytm, InMobi, Coinbase, IBM and Sprinklr. These companies faced the flak for issues related to poor company culture, management and work-life balance.

Key Takeaways from the Survey
This survey clearly shows that non-monetary factors like company culture and trust in management have more of an impact on employee satisfaction than compensation. For instance, American Express rank high on the list despite having a median salary of $32,250 (approximately ₹26.93 lakhs) than Coinbase that offers a $82,000 (approximately ₹68.47 lakh).
Long story short, the majority of India’s tech professional clearly value a positive work environment and leadership trust over higher pay.

The Last Word
The tech crowd of Indian are in favour of companies like Target, NVIDIA and American Express as they foster exemplary work environments that foster growth and satisfaction. On the other side, companies like Amazon, InMobi and Paytm need to address internal challenges if they hope to retain their employees and attract new talent.
As the tech landscape continues to evolve in India, focussing on employee well-being and strong leadership will go a long way in being ranked as a top workplace in the country.
